A Little Christmas Spirit With Estessimo TiNS
I can’t believe how quickly this year has flown by and that we are staring 2011 right in the face. It’s actually December again. Christmas time. Christmas lights, Christmas trees, Christmas specials…Christmas nails!
I’m not one for konading (I’m crap at it) or nail art really (also crap at it) but I do love polishes with festive names and lots of glitter, so how on earth could I pass on Estessimo TiNS The Holiday Cheer?

Estessimo TiNS are a Japanese brand, owned by Takara International Nails (no idea if that’s the same Takara that make Transformers in Japan, but would certainly be interesting). Unlike most Japanese polishes that simply have numbers that define their shade, TiNS have hilariously badly translated English names. This particular polish could probably do without the “the” on the front, but that isn’t the worst of it. Other shades include: The Immediately Sexy, The Happy Milk and my personal favourite, The Uranus.
All jokes aside though, TiNS polishes are a dream in terms of both application and colour. When I finally get my arse to Japan I am going to need to take an extra suitcase for these babies (I’m going to need backups of The Uranus). The Holiday Cheer was a perfect choice for my first TiNS polish and the gorgeous jelly base jam packed with different sized green and holo glitter has left me definitely wanting more. It was hard to catch just how amazingly sparkly this was with my camera – even my blurred shot here does it no justice.
If you aren’t Japanese and you want to try Estessimo TiNS polishes, never fear – you can purchase them via Akinaiblog Japan Shop. They are on the pricey side, but trust me – so worth it! I’ve got my eye on The Perfect Prince and The Silky Night for my next purchases. The lovely MsNixxy has also swatched some TiNS on her blog, You should check them out.
