Green slime or no, this clip is HOT. I always liked this song when it came out, and I haven't heard it in years, up til today. I don't even remember what made me think of it.

I've never seen Tomb Raider either. This isn't completely random, this song is from the Soundtrack. :awe:

Demo should be up on April 30...that's only two more sleeps! x3

Now now they just need to make a third installment, and have Phoenix Wright (Capcom) in it attacking people with "Super Objections" or something in that vein and my life will be freaking complete. :laa:

Edit. Demo up for US only, but if you know how to rort the system you can get it anyway. Played the demo (its multiplayer only) and the verdict is: AWESOME! But I suck badly and need practice!

Ahh Amiga, how I loved thee. When I was younger, my brothers and I had the most bitchin-est Commodore Amiga known to man. The keyboard and monitor were in perfect working order, it three external disk drives, two working mice (ZOMG! :omg: ), four joysticks and an absolute buttload of games. One of our staples involved tournaments of...

Rimmel - Blue Me Away

I absolutely adore how bright this colour is. This swatch was taken under a daylight bulb, and is two coats. It really is as in your face as the pic shows! And the pinky purple shimmer is just amazing.

I think it may be somewhat similar to my Canadian Exclusive Sally Hansen Xtreme Hard As Nails in Cobalt Seas, but that was uber limited so this will be easier to find, especially if you are in Australia or the UK.

It's super pigmented and wears well. I highly recommend this colour!

You know what, I can't even remember the basic storyline of this game, and I'm not about to go read some game reviewer's perspective on it just to refresh my memory. That would ruin my fun, and all anyone needs to know is that I loved the crap out of this game, and played it so much it consumed my nineteen year old life.

Sonic 12 inch StatueFinally, some info.

I've had this pre-ordered since last August and it's just been pushed back, then pushed back and then pushed back some more. I was starting to think it was never going to come at all, but now the company that has created this statue, First4Figures is saying that it will be shipping in May, 2009. It's eight months late, but whatevs.

Designed by artist Lu Bin, this awesome looking old skool Sonic Statue is 12" high and will retail for $99.99 if and when it ever ships. First4Figures have not revealed the number produced yet, but say that it will be limited and that Sonic will be the first in a series. I'd lay money on the fact that Tails and Knuckles will be next.

It's available from Play Asia, BBTS or Entertainment Earth.

Also from First4Figures are smaller, but equally cool Sonic figures.

Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are 4-5 inches in height and retail for $14.99 each, although Play Asia has them for $12.99 with discounts for buying the set. They are in stock at BBTS, but not available yet from Play Asia. I just got an email this morning saying they would ship next month.

I'm posting this video for three reasons.

Reason number one is the fact that I really, really like this song. It came out when I was 9, but my older sister was a huge Ratcat fan and I guess I picked that up from her. It's an old favourite and a really sweet song.

Reason #2: Let's not beat around the bush here. Simon Day is f*cking HOT. The soft, shiny, flippy 90's hair, the cute little smirks...seriously. His parents got the formula right. I searched high and low for this clip years and years ago, before the youtube explosion, and there's now like 5 different copies of it up there. But yes. Hot stuff, that Simon Day.

Reason #3: This is MY rip! Behold my fantabulous video editing skills. This clip came from an almost 20 year old, dirty, overplayed VHS tape recorded by my sister in 1991. Through the magic of modern technology (VirtualDub, Avidemux & Goldwave) I have restored the video and the sound and turned it in to a DVD for her to keep forever. (and I think I'll keep myself a copy too!). The source material had clicks and scratches on both the audio and video, and the sound was muffled and full of hiss. Problem corrected! I'm proud of my work and wanted to share it with you all.

Getting to watch Simon in the process is clearly a bonus!

Hotel Dusk Room 215It's hour three of gameplay and the in game clock says 5.30...STILL. I've been wandering around this hotel for the last hour and I can't seem to find ANYONE. I've broken the key to my suitcase, but can't get the hanger off the wall to open it. Dinner isn't until 6.00 and I can't visit Mila until 8.30... I'm so stuck!

Am I meant to be this stuck? Something better happen soon, or I'm going back to Trauma Center.

Did you own a Dreamcast? A Sega Saturn? A Super Nintendo? Do you still love to game, but get frustrated with having to play ranked matches against gamers who take themselves and the game way too seriously? My Boyfriend runs a forum called Old Skool Gamers, and their motto is "For the Game, Not the win." It's full of friendly people who have all been gaming since the good ol' days of Sega vs. Nintendo (and even before that). They love to chat and organise game nights to help everyone get the most fun out of their gaming experience. We are Aussie based, so there may be a time difference wghen it comes to organising games, but just because you can't game with us all the time doesn't mean you can't join in on the discussions.

JOOOOIN USSSSS...... :hehe:

Old Skool Gamers also has a youtube channel. It's only new but very soon it's going to be brimming with awesome videos and trailers of the games of yesteryear, just like this one:

Yep, that's right. It's a promo video for the Sega Mega-CD...from 1993! (You can also download an avi of the full tape from here). Right now, a Dreamcast and a Saturn are hooked up to the computer at home, so there will be a lot more footage and videos just like this one in the weeks to come. Keep an eye on it!
