My stomach hurt... I had to leave the room... tears rolling down my face.

My brother & sister in law visited last night, and no Moud & Jen visit is complete without a little segment we like to call "You gotta see this on youtube..."

I still have no idea why this video is SO funny, but oh my goodness. I can't watch it without almost dying of laughter.

Also worth a mention is the T-Pain Obama Auto Tune. My boyfriend downloaded the iPhone app mentioned last night and made up a song about me writing an email to a friend. I want to make it my ringtone. I wonder if that's possible?

And can you believe I'd never seen Dramatic Chipmunk videos before? I'd seen the Chipmunk, but no videos. :))

Have a great week everyone, and don't forget to check out Nixxy's MWCILTRMND Monday post. I can guarantee you that you'll want donuts by the end.

For those of you who have no idea what a "frankenpolish" is, head on over to see the lovely Dr Frankenpolish's blog and ogle her creations. Her concoctions are mind blowing and she was also recently featured here in Nails magazine! You go girl!

I decided to have a crack this evening and now I can see why she needs a dedicated Frankening desk. There is effing glitter everywhere! But I'm done now and I'm happy with my creation. I'm calling it "Sexy Party".

It's a significant thorn in the ass of the online polish purchaser. I run into this problem a fair bit, especially on eBay dealing with amateur photos and photographers just shilling off shit that's lying around in their house for a quick buck - and I'm cool with that. But I've actually found that I have hit the worst of these from eBay stores. People who sell on eBay for a living. People who should know better and take better photos.

I thought I'd share some of my unfortunate experiences with you all. I'm not often disappointed by polishes that I buy - even when they aren't always what I thought they would be. But in these cases, I must say I was.

Sinful Mars Attack
Sinful Mars Attack. Left is the eBay pic, right is what I received.

Okay, maybe I am being a little picky about this one. It's probably the best scenario for a worst polish. The problem I have with my bottle is that it looks like it has been thinned with acetone. All the green glitter has turned silver and it floats in a murky grey green base. I have seen other people's bottles with a prominent green glitter, but mine is all silver. Sad.

But stay with me - I'm just getting started!

China Glaze Wizard of Ohh-Aahz

In case you've been living under a rock for the last six months, I would like to inform you that China Glaze are re-releasing their hugely popular Wizard of Ooh-Aahz Collection in a move that is proof positive that if we whine loud enough and long enough we can make anything happen! :awe:

I don't know about you guys, but I'm chomping at the bit to get my set. I don't own any of the originals and have long lusted after them. I thought that all my dreams had been answered when Nubar released a whole collection of green polishes, but I think Nubar may have been trumped.

China Glaze Wizard of Ohh-Aahz
L-R Ruby Pumps, Cowardly Lyin, Ten Man, Dorothy Who, C-C-Courage, The Good Witch

Ruby Pumps has been repromoted in numerous collections over the years, but most of these babies haven't been seen in quite some time. Even though I can't get these from Head 2 Toe like I would have in the past, I have found a willing mule and I should have these in my hot little hands in the next couple of weeks.

China Glaze Wizard of Ohh-Aahz
This is the original display, sans Ruby Pumps. I think the new artwork and bottles look much better!

Both Scrangie and Vampy Varnish already have swatches up, so if you haven't seen them I suggest you check them out.

I'm hoping that very soon my nails will be in good enough condition to start snapping pics again. I don't know why they seem to be taking so long to grow back after this break. Probably because I am so anxious and I'm watching them. If I forget about them, maybe they'll grow quicker? I can only hope!

Anywhooo, heres a few older swatches.

Zoya Loredana Sinful See You Soon Streetwear Shady Streetwear Splash
Streetwear Midnight Diamond Never So Ever Green Rimmel Electric Ballroom Cetuem 191
L'Oreal VIP Sally Hansen Honeydew BYS Fern LA Girls Flare Midnight Diva

Zoya Loredana
I know a lot of people don't get the matte thang and I would have to say I agree to a certain extent. OPI's Mattes were terrible IMO but Zoya seemed to nail it nicely with shimmery matte polishes. I love Loredana. It looks like brushed steel. I have the other five Zoya mattes on their way to me as we speak. I can't wait. Slap on a bit of TC and these sparkle like no ones biznezz.

Sinful See You Soon
Believe it or not, this humble, cheap, two dollar polish is very close to Chanel Nuit De Russie. I actually think that it is nicer (I know, I KNOW!). The blue sparkle is much more pronounced than the Chanel and this looks less black indoors. I can always tell that it is blue, not black. I never thought the day would come when I would pick a sinful over a Chanel, but here we are...

Streetwear Shady
This colour is beautiful. It's like a darker version of Streetwear Gold Mine. I wonder if they came out in the same collection? The purple flash in the gold is unexpected and very pretty. It's slightly brush strokey, but I actually think this works in the colours favour. It seems to add depth and allow more of the duochrome to show through.

Streetwear Splash
Another lovely Streetwear. Seriously, why did they can this line? These were fabulous! Splash is a weird colour. It's a medium toned blue with a light blue duochrome. The end result as you can see is a seriously glowy mid tone blue that makes your nails look like they are all lit up. Another funny thing about Splash too is that while it's clearly a cool toned colour, it seems to be bringing out warm tones in my skin. Very strange!

Streetwear Midnight
Streetwear Midnight has been one of my favourites for a long time. It's a simple, deep, velvety dark blue that works well with any skintone. Many others have tried to emulate its perfect balance between blue and purple, but most have failed. It's a classic colour, great for tips or toes no matter what season and I think everyone should own a shade like it.

Diamond Never So Ever Green
Half me loves this shade, while the other half of me is still not sure. I'm normally not drawn to this murky shade of green ($OPI's new Absinthe Makes the Heart has had no effect on me), but something about this polish still grabs my attention. I'm not sure if its the vibrancy of the gold shimmer, or the sneaky little emerald shimmer that's hiding in there too. It's almost invisible, but its there. A very strange polish to say the least. But for only $2.00 I was willing to give it a shot.

Rimmel Electric Ballroom
WOW. That's really all I can think of when I see this colour. It's so bright! I thought it would be similar to China Glaze Sky High Top but it's just so much more in your face and vibrant. Rimmel used to make the most amazing colours and I'm sad that this, Mania and Shocking have been discontinued. Although they do get points for keeping Camouflage around. That be HOT.

Cetuem 191
If Cetuems weren't so damn expensive I'd have an army of them. This one was gifted to me and I swear, I am so close to placing an order that its crazy. 191 is a gorgeous bluey green shimmer much like Rimmel Mania or Bloom Bianca but a bit more jellyish. It's a tad on the sheer side and does need a few coats, but as you can see it's worth it!

L'Oreal VIP
This colour is so rich and dreamy - definitely one of my top five old L'Oreals. I can't think of another colour that I own that's close to this exact shade of purple. I bought this off eBay very cheap and I do still see them floating around from time to time so if you are looking for one, keep your eyes peeled on the bay o ebil.

Sally Hansen Honeydew
When I first saw this collection of Tracy Reese's I knew I was in deep deep love with Honeydew, just from looking at the bottles. On my nails it was no different. It's quite a unique milky shade, while still being really bright. Kind of like MAC Feelin Blue, but darker and more green.

BYS Fern
Ahh, a local treasure. BYS is an Australian brand and I think that Fern is one of their triumphs. It's a little like BB Couture Frosty Meadow, but a darker, richer green with finer sparkle. It's truly unique and if you can get your hands on it I suggest you do!

LA Girls Flare Midnight Diva
I think this colour might be close to one of the Rock Star colours, but I don't have those yet so I can't compare. Midnight Diva is a dark purple jelly with loads and loads of microglitter. It's simply amazing. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!!

There you have it for the week girls, I hope to have some new stuff swatched next week! Have a great weekend! I know I will! Motocross here I come!

I'm taking the lazy option today and just posting a bunch of pics. I'm busy and I don't really feel like writing. So here's some visual stimulation.

Brucci
I got these two loooovely Brucci's yesterday courtesy of the most excellent AR. Chris's Green Belt (WTF name?) and Black Emerald. Yowzers

Holy *&&*%&^ Joan looked badass in this clip. Great cover too.

I'm a big Joan Jett fan, so needless to say I'm less than thrilled that Kristen Stewart is playing her in the upcoming Runaways bio clip. They attempted to make a Runaways movie before in the past - 1984's Du-beat-e-o. It started out as a film called "We're all Crazy Now" and got canned partway through. Unfortunately for Joan, she was the only one who signed on the dotted line and so then footage of her was spliced into a new completely nonsensical movie called Du-beat-e-o. I haven't seen it, but I want to. It sounds horrible. I love that shit.

But if you think Stewart cast as Joan casting is bad, Dakota Fanning is Cherie Currie and the girl who played Laurie in the disastrous new Halloween movies is Lita Ford.

But nevertheless, Joan circa her Dirty Deeds cover was a total fox and I loved that hair so much I cut mine the same a while back.

What do you guys reckon? A little black eye makeup, a guitar and a black tank and I'd be totally rockin! :awe:

I need a haircut again. It's now VERY long. I'm contemplating cutting it all off again, but I know I'll whine about it if I do.

*sigh*

As Natalie Sands would say while picking from her 1000's of outfits..."Decisions are the worst."
