Wow. I don’t think I’ve ever done a post on my Versace polishes before, so I guess it’s about time to begin raving. I thought for a bit about what I was going to write here and I think I’ve changed my mind. You see, Versace’s Heat Polish line is discontinued. They pop up on eBay from time to time, but they don’t make them anymore. Normally, when a good thing is discontinued, its standard practice on my part to shake my fist and complain, BUT if these polishes weren’t dc’d I never would have found them.
My local beauty supply started coughing these bad boys up at $9.95 a bottle about a year ago. I’ve since decimated that stash and all that’s left now is beiges and nanna pinks. $9.95 man! That’s cheaper than a Revlon round these parts. The formula is exquisite, as should be expected of a luxury brand. One coat, smooth, shiny and dries incredibly fast. Sticks to the nails like glue and doesnt chip. Wow. I wish there were more colours, but I’m not going to complain. I’m happy to have been able to get the ones I did.

More colours below
My favourite out of all my Versace’s, even though that purple is just SO stunning would have to be V2077-W (82177). Holy moly. The range of colour in such a deep velvety polish is simply amazing. Green to gold to amber to red. When I wear it, it makes me want to stare at my nails. I’m sure my boyfriend is tired of me waggling my fingers at him and telling him to “look”. He just nods and smiles. He knows I’m insane.
The colour shift isnt really noticeable in this shot.
But it is in this one!
On the nail, it looks coppery from front on but shifts as you move your hands.
Another high scorer is Versace V2046-W (82146).
It’s the deepest, most mesmerising blue I own. I wonder if its close to Lancome Indigo Paris?
Some others I have include V2044-W (82144) (plum creme), V2047-W (82147) (white with pink pearl), V2084-W (82184) (fuschia with blue flash) and V2059-W (82159) (bluish silver).
Ahh Versace. You’d think with all that money that they could pay someone to come up with catchy names rather than just boring old numbers!
